Miranda started her career as a pediatric physical therapist here at Beelieve in January 2023, right after graduating from UT Southwestern School of Health Professions. For Miranda, being a physical therapist is more than a career. It has been her dream since elementary school, and now it is her passion to help patients make meaningful, functional gains. What Miranda enjoys most about working in pediatrics are the long lasting relationships formed with kids and their families and getting to personally walk alongside them during their journeys towards independence. 

Since beginning at Beelieve, Miranda has been involved in many areas of the clinic, including seeing weekly visits, being a part of our aquatic therapy program, beginning the Non-Invasive Spinal Stimulation (NISE-STIM) program, managing our intensive social media account, treating in our intensive therapy program, and leading our physical therapy team. Miranda has experience working with a vast range of pediatric diagnoses and injuries. She is most passionate about working with medically complex children and those with multifaceted physical needs. She enjoys working with intensive patient populations because it offers the opportunity for highly concentrated, individualized care to promote neuroplasticity and faster progress. Miranda is DMI Introductory Level C certified, NISE-STIM Level 2 certified, and she has extensive experience with other modalities and treatment techniques such as theratogs, the universal exercise unit, and gait training. When she isn’t treating patients, she supports our physical therapy team and clinic, helping ensure we continue to provide exceptional care while empowering everyone around her to BEE the BEST they can BEE!

Outside of the clinic, Miranda enjoys fitness, spending time with her dog Belinda, visiting family or friends, traveling, watching Arkansas Razorback sports (WOO PIG SOOIE), and trying whatever new physical activity is trending.

Graduated from Texas Tech University and received her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth. Sami has experience treating a variety of diagnoses including Down Syndrome, Autism, Developmental delays, toe walking, and multiple other neurological and orthopedic diagnoses.

Graduated and earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Harding University in Searcy, AR. Megan has experience working with children with cerebral palsy, torticollis, muscular dystrophy, oncology diagnoses, developmental delays, and orthopedic conditions as well as many other neurodevelopmental diagnoses and genetic conditions.

Graduated with honors from Baylor University and earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Hardin-Simmons University. Maddy’s experience in pediatrics includes working with children facing a range of neurological conditions, developmental delays, cerebral palsy, torticollis, Down Syndrome, and genetic disorders. She’s treated a variety of orthopedic issues such as toe walking, postoperative rehab, scoliosis, fractures, and general musculoskeletal injuries.

Danielle earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center after completing her undergraduate degree at UNT in Denton. She is a Pediatric Certified Specialist (PCS) and is DMI Level A certified. Danielle has worked with kids of all ages with various neurological, genetic, and orthopedic conditions. 

Outside of the clinic, you’ll usually find her traveling with her family (including her sweet baby boy!) or checking off her bucket list goal to visit every NBA arena and NFL stadium!

Sam earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Texas Woman's University. Sam has provided therapy services for children in a wide variety of settings and has focused on working with complex populations. Sam has extensive experience working with a variety of conditions including neurological and neurodevelopmental disorders, genetic disorders, medically complex patients and those with developmental delays. Sam is DMI Level B certified and has experience with theratogs, the hypervibe, the universal exercise unit and therasuit. Outside of the clinic Sam is involved with a medical camp helping to ensure all kids have access to the magic of nature. Sam is excited to helping children thrive by working on movement, strength, balance and functional skills that are specific to your family allowing your child and the family as a whole to engage with your community and in activities that are meaningful to you. Sam is excited to walk alongside you in all stages of your journey and to see what we can accomplish together. 

Avery Thies earned her degree from Texas State University and is passionate about helping children build strength, confidence, and independence through pediatric physical therapy.

During PT school, Avery completed two pediatric clinical rotations in home health and outpatient/acute care settings, where she gained experience working with a wide variety of diagnoses including Down syndrome, Cerebral palsy, Torticollis, Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy (CIDP), Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), Autism Spectrum Disorder, orthopedic conditions, post-surgical recovery, developmental delays, genetic syndromes, and Hydrocephalus.

Avery was first introduced to the world of pediatric physical therapy while shadowing at Beelieve Pediatric Therapy during college, where she quickly discovered her passion for working with children and families. She loves creating meaningful connections with her patients while helping them achieve goals in a fun, supportive environment.

Outside of the clinic, Avery enjoys traveling (especially to Hawaii), reading, working out, and spending time with family and friends. She loves running, weight training, yoga, Pilates, and walking, and can often be found playing Mahjong or catching up on her favorite TV shows. Avery is also engaged to her fiancé, Nic, and they are getting married in April 2027! Together they have two dogs, Emmie and Stella, and a cat named Violet.

Lucy Martin earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Texas Woman’s University after completing her undergraduate degree in Biology at University of North Texas.

During PT school, Lucy completed pediatric clinical rotations in both home health and outpatient settings, where she gained experience working with children with a wide variety of diagnoses and developmental needs. Her experience includes working with children with complex neurodevelopmental conditions, Cerebral Palsy, Autism Spectrum Disorder, spinal cord injuries, Spina Bifida, torticollis, developmental delays, rare genetic diagnoses, and toe walking.

Lucy is passionate about helping children build strength, confidence, mobility, and independence while creating meaningful relationships with families along the way. She loves making therapy fun, encouraging, and individualized for every child she works with.

Outside of the clinic, Lucy enjoys long-distance running, working out, reading, crafting, and occasionally baking. She also loves spending time with her cat, Ollie.
