Pelvic Floor Therapy

How can we help?

Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy might benefit your child if they...

  • Leak urine or feces during the day or night

  • Wake up wet

  • Strain to have a bowel movement

  • Have soft bowel movements

  • Wear a pad or pull up due to leaking

  • Have a delay with developmental milestones

Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy can be utilized when a child has difficulty with bowel or bladder incontinence, constipation, or pelvic pain when using the restroom.

Therapists focus on educating on the pelvic floor anatomy and function, increasing awareness and motor control of the pelvic floor muscles, improving muscle imbalances of the pelvic floor, diet modifications, toileting posture, bowel and bladder control, and voiding schedule.
